Founded 25 years ago, the original business was privately owned by two brothers-in-law, Barry Clennell and Terry Charlton.  Barry was the one most often seen on a tractor in the local area while Terry did the rounds of all the local sports club, giving advice and selling fertilisers, seeds and similar requirements. Dealing with the little clubs, who were often overlooked when it came to decent prices, Turf Care, as it was then, built a solid customer base who valued the personal service as well as the excellent advice and quality workmanship on offer.

Those who are still with us, - and there are many who remember Terry delivering with a broken leg in a plaster cast!- will know that Barry went on to pastures new in the late 1990's leaving Terry with a handpicked team who believe in giving the best to our customers.  Continuing to grow and being the acknowledged experts on sports turf surfaces in the area, the company changed its name in 2001 to reflect it's changing role. 

Because of the company's reputation for honest advice, excellent work and keen prices it's customer base has grown to include Premiership Football Clubs, Local Authorities, Top Rank Rugby Clubs and County Cricket Grounds, as well as the major educational facillities.  What sets it apart is that it still numbers countless small village cricket and bowling clubs as important customers, who receive the same treatment as the big golf clubs do!
