Our fully trained and experienced operators combine with our modern, specialised equipment enabling us to ensure as trouble-free and as smooth a completion of cricket projects as possible. Even when dealing with the difficult to handle materials that are required in cricket pitch maintenance.
Turfcare can also offer an initial complimentary site visit to discuss club requirements, this can be followed by soil samples being taken and a detailed report supplied on wicket conditions plus a guide recommending fertiliser, chemical and cultural maintenance practices if required.
Turfcare have also been involved in installations of practice facilities all over the region. We are able to offer single pitch installations situated at the edge or near to the square or stand alone practices facilities. Bases are constructed depending on our customer’s specifications, and shockpads and carpets are supplied from a market leading UK manufacturer.

Scarification is carried out to remove organic matter from around the base of the grass and tidy up any straggly lateral growth. Scarification removes material, probably in the form of thatch or moss that will otherwise prevent good dense grass growth.
