With the purchase of two new Shelton Trenchers Turfcare Specialists Limited can now offer quick, efficient and clean installation of drainage pipes, sand slits and underground services.
The Shelton Chain Trencher can cut neat trenches from 100mm (4”) to 170mm (7”) up to a depth of 1 metre. Spoil is placed into trailer or dumper driving alongside for disposal.
The Shelton Super Trencher 450 quickly cuts neat, clean trenches or sand slits. Widths can be easily varied by changing the picks (50mm - 125mm). Again spoil is loaded into trailers or dumpers via a conveyor.
Once the trenches have been cut we have ‘state of the art’ equipment to install pipe work, infill with gravels, sands and root zones. Because the whole process takes place using dedicated sports turf drainage machinery, surface disruption is kept to a minimum enabling rapid re-establishment.
We are very experienced drainage contractors and we would be only too pleased to carry out a site survey. Once results are known we can then quote for any work required.
