SISIS AUTO ROTORAKE

The SISIS Auto-Rotorake is a heavy-duty de-thatcher for use on fine turf areas. Ideal for frequent use on ultra-dwarf grasses. The Rotorake principle incorporates a reel of blades rotating at high speed in the opposite direction to that of the conventional cylinder mower. The blades therefore cut upwards, continuously taking fiber away from the surface. This also ensures that the machine is held to the ground and a regular working depth is maintained. The Auto-Rotorake is designed for ease of handling, maneuverability, and operating safety.

Scarification is carried out to remove organic matter from around the base of the grass and tidy up any straggly lateral growth.
In a nutshell, scarification removes material, probably in the form of thatch or moss that will otherwise prevent good dense grass growth. If you do not scarify, debris will build up and lead to other problems.
